Hexagonal Building

Standard Features:

  • All Materials used for the construction of the building will be pressure treated tanalised timber.
  • Timber posts are 150mm diameter (6 inches)
  • 150 x 50mm timber rafters (6" x 2")
  • The roof will be clad with 150 x 25mm (6" x 1") tongue and groove board, no plywood is used in this building.
  • Heavy duty bitumen shingles - various colours available
  • A decked floor will form an ideal level base.
  • Bench seating will be incorporated into the building.

Technical Specifications:

  • The decking floor area will be supported by 100mm x 100mm tanalised timber posts concreted to a depth of no less than 600mm.
  • The decking area will be joisted out with 150mm x 50mm joists.
  • The framework will then be boarded out with 38mm x 125mm high quality deck boards, with 3mm gaps to ensure no fingers will be trapped.
  • Free standing building - no base work needed but needs to be level ground
PLEASE NOTE: No concrete bases are required for any Bridge Timber buildings.

Bench seating can be installed in the building, as pictured here. The seating can be customised to your specification on installation.

Hexagonal building dimensions are measured from one corner to its opposite, and all stand at a height of 3.6m.
